Swindon Employees in the Community
Network was launched in June 2004 by Swindon companies interested in maximising
the benefits of employee volunteering to their companies, employees and the
local community: Thames Water; Intel; Nationwide Building Society; npower;
Zurich Financial Services; Motorola; Triumph International, Prohelp (representing
professional firms); Volunteer Centre Swindon; and Charities Information Bureau
were the founder members. In April 2007, membership has grown to over 70 and
now includes groups from all three sectors.
